Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
1. Who we are
BobbyPair is a pre-launch project designed to help au pairs and host families find suitable matches. BobbyPair is currently operated by an individual founder based in Spain.
For privacy-related questions, you can contact us at bobbypair26@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
When you join the BobbyPair waitlist, we may collect the following information:
• Your first name.
• Your email address.
• Your country.
• Whether you have chosen to consent to receiving launch news and updates.
We may also process limited technical information associated with using the website, depending on the website features and services enabled.
3. How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
* Add you to the BobbyPair waitlist.
* Manage your waitlist registration.
* Understand interest in BobbyPair from different countries.
* Contact you about the launch and relevant product updates, but only if you have opted in to receive these communications.
* Respond to questions or requests you send us.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for unrelated advertising.
We will only process personal information where an appropriate legal basis applies under data protection law. Waitlist administration and optional marketing communications may have different legal bases.
4. Optional email updates and consent
You can join the BobbyPair waitlist without agreeing to receive marketing emails.
The checkbox for launch news and updates is optional. If you leave it unticked, your waitlist registration should still be accepted, but you will not receive optional marketing updates.
If you give consent, you can withdraw it at any time by contacting bobbypair26@gmail.com. Withdrawing consent will not affect processing that took place lawfully before withdrawal.
We may retain a minimal record of your preference where necessary to respect your choice.
5. Service providers
BobbyPair uses Wix to host the website and provide website and form functionality. Gmail may be used to receive and respond to emails sent to BobbyPair.
These providers may process personal information as necessary to provide their services. Their applicable privacy terms and any relevant data-processing arrangements should be reviewed.
6. International data transfers
Depending on the services used, our providers may process or store information in countries outside the European Economic Area. Where applicable, transfers will need to comply with the requirements of data protection law and use an appropriate transfer mechanism.
7. How long we keep your information
We will keep waitlist information only for as long as it is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy. We intend to review waitlist information around six months after the public launch, or earlier if the project is discontinued, and delete information that is no longer needed unless we have a lawful reason to retain it.
8. Keeping information secure
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
9. Your data protection rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you may have the right to request access to your personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion or restriction of processing, object to certain processing, and request data portability.
Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time.
To make a request, contact bobbypair26@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD): https://www.aepd.es.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
This website uses a cookie-consent tool provided through Usercentrics for Wix. The cookies and similar technologies actually used by the website depend on the features and services enabled.
Where required by law, non-essential cookies or similar technologies should only be used after the required consent has been obtained. The website’s actual cookies and tracking technologies must be checked to ensure this notice accurately reflects them.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our website, services or data-processing practices change. The latest version will be shown on this page with its updated date. Where required, we will provide notice of significant changes.
